Drones: a new tool used by the police force. For the past two weeks, drones have been flying over the city of Lyon and its surroundings to locate individuals who do not respect confinement.
Police drones are equipped with high-definition cameras use of a very strong zoom and resolution of the image as well as thermal cameras, capable of seeing at night and during the day.
Behind the control screen, the pilot checks in realtime whether the streets are empty.
These drones are capable of flying for a minimum of twenty-five minutes, up to a height of 100m while being discreet.
They film in 4K or UHD and can transmit up to 5 kms, depending on the model.
